  2. 1 cup Maida
  3. 1 cup Ata
  4. 1 Tbsp ghee
  5. 1 Tbsp yogurt

  7. 1/2 tsp Ajwain
  8. as per taste Salt
  9. as required Water to knead the dough
  10. For Paneer Butter Masala -4 parts
  11. (1) For Yogurt Gravy
  12. 1 cup yogurt
  13. 1 Tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  14. 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  15. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  16. 2 butter cubes
  17. as per taste Salt
  18. (2) For Paneer soaking
  19. 1 cup lukewarm water
  20. 200 gms cubed paneer
  21. as per taste Salt
  22. (3) For Onion-Tomato Masala
  23. 1 medium size onion chopped
  24. 1 medium size tomato chopped
  25. 1 Tbsp red chilli powder
  26. as per taste Salt
  27. 2 Tbsp butter
  28. (4) For Gravy
  29. 3 Tbsp ghee
  30. 1 Tbsp butter
  31. 1 bay leaf
  32. 2-3 cloves
  33. 3-4 green cardamom
  34. 2-3 whole red chillies
  35. Yogurt gravy
  36. 1-2 green chillies halved
  37. 3 large tomatoes chopped
  38. 6 cashew nuts
  39. 1 inch ginger chopped
  40. 2-3 garlic cloves crushed
  41. 1 Tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
  42. 2 drops kewra water
  43. 1.2 cups water
  44. as per taste Salt

Instructions to make to make Paneer Butter Masala & Tandoori Roti

  1. For Tandoori Roti - in a bowl add Maida, Ata, ghee, baking soda, sugar, salt, ajwain and mix well.
  2. Add water as required and make a dough to make the Roti. Keep it covered with a wet muslin cloth for 1 hour. Smear a little oil on the dough
  3. Roll out the Rotis. Smear water well one side. Keep a Tawa Pre heated.
  4. Place the watered side on the tawa face down and bubbles will be seen after 2 mins. Flip the tawa and roast the reverse side. Set aside once done and complete the batch.
  5. For Paneer Butter Masala - Step (2) soak the cubed paneer in lukewarm water and set aside. This is to make the paneer soft.
  6. Step (1) Yogurt gravy - in a bowl add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, yogurt, salt and butter. Whisk well and set aside foer later use
  7. Step (4) Gravy - in a wok heat ghee and butter. Add bay leaf, cloves, green cardamom, chopped ginger, green chillies, whole red chilies, crushed garlic, sliced onion. Stir until onions are softened. Add prepared yogurt gravy and stir until ghee surfaces on top
  8. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, chopped tomatoes, cashews, salt, water and cook covered for 10 mins until tomatoes are mushy. Set aside to cool for 2-3 mins. Discard the bay leaf. Take a hand blender and blend until smooth and texture is shiny of the gravy
  9. Step (3) Onion Tomato Masala - in a wok heat butter and add chopped onions, chopped tomatoes. Stir well.
  10. Add the gravy. Add the paneer cubes and cook on low flame for 3-4 mins. The gravy will thicken a little due to cashew nuts. Add water if desired. Set aside and add dry kasuri methi crushed.
  11. To plate add coriander leaves, a little whisked yogurt to give the cream effect but don’t add fresh cream. Serve hot with Tandoori Roti and enjoy a complete meal
